School Mission Statement

In accordance with the Twin Rivers Unified School District mission, Kohler PK-8 will inspire each student to extraordinary achievement every day. To accomplish this mission, Kohler PK-8 will:
  1. Offer a rigorous educational program with high expectations for all students.
  2. Value, respect, and engage with the diverse cultures represented within our school.
  3. Create a family-friendly environment that fosters mutual respect, trust, and care.
  4. Engage students, staff, families, and community with meaningful involvement in our schools and programs

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year

Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022, is the first day of school.
School hours:
Breakfast:           7:30 a.m. – 7:55 a.m.       
School starts:     8:00 a.m.                              
School ends:      2:42 p.m.                        

Twin Rivers Unified School District has Early Release Wednesdays. All students will start school at the same time every day and will be released two hours early every Wednesday for staff Professional Learning Time (PLT). Early Release Wednesday hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:42 p.m.
Our office will reopen on August 1st, 2022. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Back to School Night is scheduled for August 25tth  at 5:00 PM.  You will learn more about your children’s classrooms, our curriculum, homework policies and important ways to help make this school year a success for your family.

 We ask that you guide and support your child’s learning by ensuring that your student:  
  • Attends school daily and arrives on time
  • Completes all homework assignments
  • Reads daily to develop a love for reading and to improve literacy skills
  • Shares school experiences with you so that you are aware of their school life
