Mission Statement

Kohler PK-8 School, in close partnership with families and community, is a school where all children achieve high levels of learning in a rigorous, engaging, safe, educational environment in preparation for college, career, and life success.

Spring Testing

During the months of April and May, Kohler students will be partaking in the following state tests:

  • May 2-13
    • 3rd-8th grade SBAC Test

Please be sure your student gets a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast during the testing window.

Kohler's Annual Talent Show is Coming Up!


Students who wish to participate must submit an application to their teacher by Wednesday, April 29, 2016. Invitations to try-out will be sent to students Monday, May 2, 2016 and try-outs will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016. Students will be notified Thursday, May 5, 2016 if they have been selected to participate in the talent show.


Stay tuned for rehearsal and day of times!


*All application information must be filled out completely and correctly or it will be retuned to the student for the necessary corrections to be made.

Family Friday

May 6, 2016

Kohler students love to share the joy of reading with their families!  Family Fridays are days when parents and family members are encouraged to come in and read with their students. The times are from 8:10 AM until 8:40 AM. After 8:40 AM families are encouraged to meet in the cafeteria for coffee, socialization with other Kohler families, and a drawing to win fun prizes.

Who: Open to all ages


What: Family Game Night

(board and card games to be provided)


When: Friday, May 13


Where: Kohler's cafeteria


Additional Details: As families arrive they will be given a raffle ticket and entered into a drawing to take home one of the night's games!

Kindergarten Registration


Kindergarten registration will begin January 4, 2016. To register your future student, please bring the following to the office:


  • Birth Certificate (original)
  • Immunization Records (7, 8 grade students must have proof of TDAP immunization)
  • ​Proof of Residency (SMUD, PG&E, Purchase or Rental Agreement)
